2-inch wide, 22-inches long PVC tube with cap on one end

parchment paper to line the PVC tube

Ingredients:

2 tbsp coffee grounds

7.6 oz distilled water

2.9 oz lye

SAFETY CHECK!

Pull a piece of parchment long enough to curl and line the inside of your tube with a bit sticking out the top for easy finished soap removal.

Measure your coffee, distilled water, and lye, and take these to a well-ventilated area outside. Add coffee to the water, and then add the lye to the water and mix thoroughly. Set aside.

Weigh your oils and melt over medium heat. Remove from heat and then fetch your coffee/lye liquid. Add this to your oils (I keep my coffee soap unscented, but feel free to scent as you desire), mixing thoroughly, and then pour into pre-lined tube and set your tube in a safe, upright, and undisturbed place for 12 to 24 hours. Remove your hardened soap from the tube by removing bottom cap and pulling on parchment from the top. This will release the soap and parchment from the inside of the tube. Peel off parchment and cut up soap. Set in an undisturbed, well-ventilated area for 4 to 6 weeks to cure. Enjoy!!
