ALEX BERENSON is a former New York Times reporter and award-winning novelist. Born in New York, he attended Yale University and went on to join the New York Times in 1999. There he covered everything from the drug industry to Hurricane Katrina and served two stints as a correspondent in Iraq. His time in Iraq led him to write The Faithful Spy, his debut novel, which won the Edgar Award for Best First Novel from the Mystery Writers of America. Currently, he lives in the Hudson Valley with his wife and children, writes fiction, and still occasionally contributes to the Times and other publications. Tell Your Children is his second nonfiction book.
