Thank you for reading What the Tide Brings!
I started writing this book after several weeks of fearing I’d never have another story idea again. The morning after I started writing, I woke up in that early morning haze with a memory of a great story I’d started the day before, and I couldn’t wait to get back to reading it so I could see how it ended. When I woke up properly I realised the story was one I’d started writing, and to get to the end I had to write it. I’ve really enjoyed unravelling the story of Myna and Ronan and Ebba, and I hope you have to.

Heather Ewings is a Tasmanian author of speculative fiction. With a Masters in History and a fascination with myth and folklore, Heather’s stories explore the past and the present (and occasionally the future) through the lens of the magical.
