First last and always, and this time specifically, an enthusiastic thank you to my English Gentleman, Chris Stokes, who interestingly enough bears an uncanny likeness to Olympia’s Frederick. He is always my first reader, but on this book he’s also been my invaluable English language consultant, because in this story, Olympia is really the only American voice. Because most of the characters are English, most of the dialogue is British English. So to help American readers (and amuse my English fans) I added a dictionary of terms at the back of this book.
Thank you to my English Giggleswick writers. You know who you are, and you are right here on these pages with me. Thank you also to my 3 on 3 writers and my OBL writers, for your continuing support and honest, constructive comments. You help me make these books happen.
To my readers on both sides of the Atlantic who keep asking for more, to Karen Phillips, the designer of these fantastic covers, and Judith Ivie, my visionary and brutally honest and wickedly funny publisher, my respect, love and gratitude. This really is a team effort. Thank you, all of you.
