Sara was lying on her side with her head resting on Cade’s chest, listening to the sound of his steady breathing. Reese was snuggled behind her, his hand hanging loosely over her hip, his face buried in the nape of her neck. The love she felt for him was just as strong as the love she had for her husband. Why had she fought Cade in the beginning? He seemed to know exactly what she wanted and needed.
Sara’s thoughts turned to her father. George Martin may have been a workaholic but he also drank heavily. There had been plenty of times when she had no choice but to sit home on the weekends and wait for a phone call to pick him up at the local bar. Her aunt would always tell her to be a good daughter and not think of herself all of the time. It was her duty to be there for her dad. Sara sighed. She had turned down so many dates the boys had stopped asking her. No one was around for her senior prom. She had spent weekend after weekend cleaning up her dad’s vomit and listening to him insult her mother.
Sara felt that she had done right by her father until the day he died but when she tried to get on with her life and meet new people her aunt would remind her that it was her turn to be taken care of. Now she deserved Sara’s time for being there when her father was not. No matter what Sara wanted to do her aunt constantly reminded her that she owed her for helping with her upbringing. She had been against this marriage from the beginning but Sara knew deep in her heart she had found a good man. One who would treat her with kindness but also give her what she craved without seriously hurting her.
Sara stared up at the ceiling as if trying to find the answers to a million questions. Why hadn’t her mom tried to communicate with her? Did she really hate her that much? Should she ask Cade to find her? Should she at least give her mom a chance to tell her side of the story?
She blew out a breath and looked at the clock. No time to be lollygagging around. She had to be at work in an hour.
Gently, she moved Reese’s hand from her hip and made her way to the bottom of the bed. At the doorway she turned to look at the two men who had rocked her world last night. She was sore in a number of places but she wouldn’t change anything that had happened. She smiled. She could get used to waking up in the morning with two hot guys. She needed to tell Cade and Reese that she wanted to spend the rest of her life like this. To hell with the world. To hell with what Aunt Helen had to say.
Sara skipped down the stairs and made a beeline for the kitchen. Her men deserved a fresh pot of coffee. While the coffee was brewing she rummaged in the cupboard for a tray. They had treated her like a queen last night so she’d treat them like kings today. Once the coffee was done she arranged two cups on the tray with spoons and sweetener. She grabbed the milk from the refrigerator and headed up the stairs.
* * * *
Cade opened his eyes and yawned. Reese stood in the middle of the room with his back toward him. “Fuck, man. Your hairy ass is not the first thing I want to see in the morning.” He patted the bed. “Where’s Sara?”
Reese sniffed the air appreciatively. “Coffee smells good. She must be down in the kitchen.” He pulled on his jeans and zipped his fly. “I can’t get last night out of my head. Sara is one beautiful and giving woman.”
“Tell me something I don’t know.”
Sara pushed open the door with her foot and smiled. “Are you two talking about me?”
Reese hurried to take the tray from her hands. He leaned down and kissed her lightly on the forehead. “You bet, sugar.” He shot a sidelong glance at her ass. “Are you sore at all?”
When Sara flushed a bright pink, Cade’s dick grew hard. No doubt the creamy skin of her ass matched the current color of her cheeks. Reese had paddled her quite thoroughly yesterday, triggering an arousal in Cade that he had never experienced before. Her pussy and nipples had to be sore as well. He and Reese had used her hard last night and she had cried out for more.
Sara stood on her tiptoes and kissed Reese on the mouth. Cade’s cock twitched, and he reached under the blanket to stroke himself.
“I’m fine,” she assured Reese.
When she turned toward Cade her eyes held the look of a woman well ravished. He held out his arms and laughed as she rushed to his side of the bed. She threw herself on top of him and peppered his face with loud kisses.
“Oh, your hand, I’m sorry.” She pulled away, but Cade yanked her back and kissed her fully on the mouth.
“Stop worrying about everyone else or we’ll have a repeat performance of last night.”
Sara rubbed her breasts against Cade’s bare chest. “I can handle that.”
Cade groaned. “I mean what happened in the living room.”
Sara giggled. “I wouldn’t mind a repeat of that scene either.”
“Is that right?” Reese asked, and smacked her on her ass. “I don’t know about you, Cade, but methinks this little lady could use a bit of discipline every day whether she needs it or not. A maintenance spanking perhaps?”
Cade looked down at Sara and waggled his brows. In an instant he flipped her face down over his lap. He laid one arm across her shoulders and the other over her thighs. “Look at that, sweets, my wrist is just fine.” He traced the delicate curve of her ear with his tongue and was rewarded with a loud squeal.
“Cade, you know I’m sensitive there.” Sara struggled to get out of his hold but he was too strong.
Cade chuckled. “I sure do.” He proceeded to nibble at the soft skin beneath her ear. “I also know another place where you’re really sensitive.” He insinuated his hand between her legs and began stroking her clit. “Are you getting horny?”
Reese was busy raining kisses along the nape of her neck. He caught his brother’s eye and winked.
“Yes,” Sara cried out. “But we can’t do this right now. I have to go to work.”
Cade blew in her ear and caught her earlobe with his teeth. “Call in sick.”
“I can’t do that to Melanie.”
Reese slipped his hands under her shirt and unhooked her bra.
“Oh God, please guys.”
Cade tore his gaze away from Reese’s fingers pinching her engorged nipples and sighed. “Okay, we’ll have mercy on you.” He rolled Sara onto her back and tapped her on the nose with his finger. “If you say you’re sorry because you have to go to work you will get spanked. Honey, I love you just the way you are, but we’re going to have a little talk when you get home later.”
Sara wrinkled her nose. “What about?”
Cade patted her hip and she scrambled off the bed. He got to his feet and pulled on his sweats. “I don’t like the idea of your aunt calling and getting her panties in a twist because we aren’t keeping her up to date on what’s going on in our lives. Sara, I will not tolerate any interference on her part. The sooner she knows this the better for all of us.” He arched a brow at her pout. “Sweetheart, you know I’m right about this.”
He took hold of her chin and tilted her head so she had no other choice but to meet his gaze.
“I’m not saying that she’s not welcome here. What I don’t welcome is her interference. Your life is with me now. Is that clear?”
