Epilogue
D amnit, Cider!” Billy groaned. “Why must you tease me?” His panting whine was adorable.
I licked the tip, the cream was delicious. I kept a firm grip on the base.
“It’s not my fault that I was faster.” I bit down on the popsicle. “Damn, it’s so good and creamy.”
Billy wiped his brow, glaring at me from where he laid across the couch. “You’re a jerk.”
“I asked yesterday if we were running low on anything when I was at the grocery store. Not my fault.” This time I sang out my reply. “It’s sooooo good.”
His middle finger went up in reply as I cackled from the island.
“Long day?” My legs swung on the barstool.
“Titus is a cruel customer. I was excited to take over the contract of landscaping his place, but damn, he wanted it just right and I wasn’t allowed to leave until it was just so. He’s so lucky he gives good head.” Billy tipped his head back with his eyes closed.
“Ah, my poor Billy goat.” I hopped off the stool and leaned over the edge of the couch, pressing the side of the popsicle to his mouth. “I’ll share.”
His tongue swiped out, finishing the remainder of the tasty treat in one bite. I wasn’t even upset. He dropped the wooden stick onto the table and pulled me over the edge. I laughed as I fell on top of him.
“Well, I think knowing Titus is even more OCD than you are is pretty adorable. Do you see how twitchy he gets when he sees my room?” My chin rested on his chest.
“That is fun.” His large hand moved down my back to my ass. “I like the way Jack just doesn’t care either way. He does have a tendency to be on your side, though.”
I giggled. “He really just wants us all happy. He knows when I’m happy, you guys tend to be.”
His big shoulders shrugged. “I’m looking forward to my date with him later this week. Think he’ll take me to the ice rink?” His hand ran along my thigh, making me shiver.
“I want details, wherever you guys go. Especially if it means you two do the naughty tango.”
My mates were enjoying each other just as much as I enjoyed them.
It’d been a little over a month since the confrontation against Samuel. Igor was gone. She’d left a note with Iris, telling her that she wanted to explore the world and learn how to be the best version she could be without compromising herself. I’d hired one of the older teens from the orphanage in town as her replacement. So far, everything was going great with them.
No one had heard from Samuel. It was about a week later that the construction on the building for Darcorp stopped and it disappeared one night. As if a sudden, unexplainable snow storm had torn it apart and scattered the rubble.
Things were going more smoothly with Quinten. He was still a little sensitive if I joked about blue balls, but it seemed to amuse Lys to no end.
We were working on becoming friends. It wasn’t happening overnight, but it was a slow process. We've met up for goat yoga at Maya’s twice so far.
Titus and Jack stayed at our house a few times a week. They both had multiple drawers at this point in both Billy’s and my rooms. I was hoping that in a few more months, we could ask them just to move in permanently with us.
I looked down at my best friend. So many things had changed since that day I went skating after work. Falling in love with each of them was just the icing on the cake.
I pressed our lips together in a chaste kiss.
Who knows what the future holds for us? All I knew was that whatever came our way, we’d all face it together.
And sex. There would be lots of sex.
The End. For Now. Maybe. Who knows?
