Susan McCullough has written about all things dog for print and online outlets all over the United States. Her books include Senior Dogs For Dummies and Beagles For Dummies (both, Wiley). She’s written articles about dog care and training for Family Circle, The Washington Post, and AKC Family Dog, among others, and blogged about dog care and culture for the Metropolitan Washington [DC] Council of Governments. She is a six-time winner of the Dog Writers Association of America Maxwell Award for her work, and has also won the Eukanuba Canine Health Award for outstanding writing about canine health.
Susan lives in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, with her husband, Stan Chappell, and their rescued Beagle-Dachshund mix, Bonnie Rose.
For Allie, the dog I didn't know I needed
