Strength is becoming a category of its own.
Not just the strength to resist and to awaken oneself and others, just as there are enfeebled places, cities and lands, elements and feelings and men, entire countries and wind and water, and men and women worth much contemplation. The earlier arduous work, for example, that of washing linen, preparing food, cost energy, but it also gave something to the one who derived a benefit from it, and to the one who did the work.
The loss of strength of individuals and of the so-called free society corresponds to the misuse and increase of energy through public gadgets and necessities. These are compensatory acts of power supply through leisure and consumerism. Art and the theater stages as sites for the interpretation of old texts with new requirements are overburdened.
With greater individual freedom in the pluralistic closeness of different parties, opinions, currents, up to homelessness, the constraints of the system grew as never before. Already an atomic power-plant, which provides all energies from which the fruits of individual freedom come through push-button technology, determines the cultivation of crops and the food regardless of air pollution and soil alteration or water resources.
