Vorrei qui segnalare gli articoli di Mark Finch, David Robinson, Tony Rayns e soprattutto Michael O’Pray, uno dei critici inglesi che più da vicino ha seguito l’opera di Jarman. Vincenzo Patanè, Roberto Silvestri e Marina Ganzerli sono invece tra i più arguti sostenitori italiani dell’opera di Jarman. Le recensioni più severe sono venute da Vincent Canby negli Stati Uniti e Norman Stone in Gran Bretagna.
