Selected further reading

This is a personal selection of books that have aided me in writing The Four Roads to Heaven. There are a great many others relating to the great pilgrimage of the Middle Ages, including numerous guide books to both the French pilgrim roads and to the Spanish camino. There are also many DVDs available, and these too can be found at many of the principal sites along the pilgrim roads, or in local bookshops.
