If You Consume Too Much
Here are some tips for dealing with intense side effects:
• Do your deep breathing exercise on a five-count cycle (inhale for five, hold for five, exhale for five).
• Remind yourself that panic is temporary. You are okay.
• Drink fruit juice or something sugary to increase your blood sugar, bringing you to a calmer state of mind and body. Be sure not to consume any energy drinks.
• CBD and limonene counteract the effects of THC. Consume some CBD and eat an orange.
• Inhale lemon essential oil.
• Lie on your side.
• Close your eyes and relax. Can you turn the experience around? Look for your safe place, but know that it is okay if you can’t find it.
• If you are working with a partner, know that your partner will be there to help you through. This is what they are there for.
