AMISH WINTER SOUP RECIPE

1 ½ cups water

1 cup cubed red potatoes

½ cup thinly sliced carrots

½ cup celery, sliced ½-inch thick

½ teaspoon white pepper

1 cup cubed cooked ham

¾ lb Velveeta cheese

1. Bring water, potatoes, carrots, and celery to a boil.

2. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

3. Add remaining ingredients.

4. Cook, stirring occasionally until cheese is melted. Don’t add any salt!
