Mabel Ann’s eyes widened as Liam turned the massive moving truck they’d rented onto the paved driveway. Her smexy as sin Werewolf mate put the enormous trailer in park as they rolled to a stop in front of one of the tiny houses behind the giant mansion that was buzzing with activity.
“This isn’t a Pack House. It’s a compound!” she exclaimed.
So far New Jersey was about as far from Texas as this she-Wolf could have gone. Winter was upon them, and she’d seen everything from mountains to cities, to suburbs, and now the seashore. For a small state, this one seemed to have a bit of everything, and she finally understood Liam’s obsession.
“Well, that is our Pack House, but we call it the Manor. This is where we will stay. It’s one of the guest cottages. I requested it the day we mated so we could have some privacy these first few months as you acclimate. If you want to move into there instead—”
“No! I mean, this is fine. Better than fine. I just meant, I mean, I expected all of New Jersey to be small,” she said, a little embarrassed now that she was done with her freak out.
“I see. I just want you happy, pupcake,” he said, and dropped a kiss on her cheek before hopping out of the cab.
“I am,” she assured him for the millionth time.
Okay, maybe not that many. And it was something of a surprise when she’d told him she was more than willing and actually impatient to leave Zapata Pack lands and join the ranks of the Macconwood Pack.
Mabel Ann loved her hometown, but she had a lot of mixed feelings about her place there. Her father had stepped into the role of Alpha now that Sonny and Crystal had been publicly disgraced. Both were being held by the Shifter Council while the High Alpha set up her own judicial system. awaiting trial.
Too many bad memories existed there for her to ever find true happiness. Besides, her heart was with her mate and Liam was a Wolf Guard with the Macconwood Pack. It would be unfair of her to ask him to give that up, even if he told her he would in a heartbeat. That kind of devotion didn’t need proof. She knew he loved her, all the way down to her marrow.
“Come on and meet your new Pack,” Liam said excitedly.
A bunch of large Wolves came outside to greet them and Mabel Ann was stunned to see their mates and little ones, all bundled up against the weather, coming over as well.
She recognized Charley, Aleeza, and Claire from Zapata, but one woman in particular, with long hair in just about every color of the rainbow and eyes glowing a spectacular shade of purple, had her stopping short.
The woman was heavily pregnant, and with her was a slightly older version of Liam. He had mousy brown hair, but a quiet strength she found comforting.
Liam was busy slapping shoulders and receiving hugs from three little pups in particular who tackled his legs and squealed as snow began to fall down around them. Mabel Ann wanted to join him, but she was caught in the female’s lavender, now pink, gaze.
“One more minute, love,” she said, and it sounded like three voices combined into one.
Mabel Ann felt warmth spread throughout her body, as if the female was peeking into her heart to see what lingered. She blinked, and suddenly, the subtle intrusion was gone.
“You are a fine mate for our Liam then,” the female said, her accent hard to distinguish.
“What are you?” Mabel Ann blurted.
She blushed at her own bald question. Apologies dripping from her mouth, even as Liam came over and tugged her closer to him.
“Seff! Mabel Ann this is my brother, and his mate Sherry. So Sherry, how’s my niece or nephew? I see you two already met my pupcake,” he said, grinning and kissing Mabel Ann on the cheek.
“You’re Seff and Sherry? It is so nice to meet you,” she said in a rush.
She knew the Macconwood motto that all Pack was family, but this Wolf was his blood. She nodded and accepted his mate’s hand, surprised at the female’s strength. She was not a Wolf, that was for sure, but there was something about her.
“Your Mabel Ann is quite the she-Wolf, young Liam. Oh, and to answer your question, they are fine,” Sherry replied, walking away while rubbing her enormous stomach.
“Nice to meet you, Mabel Ann. Wait, they? What do you mean they? Sherry Morgan McAllister!” Seff raced after his mate who was now on the floor crawling after a pair of boys who were Wolfing right out of their clothes.
“They’re so young!” Mabel Ann gasped.
“I know. It’s a miracle,” Liam told her, hugging her tightly.
Something tugged the bottom of her coat and she looked down to see a cherubic face frowning up at her. The little girl looked from Liam to Mabel Ann, and back again. Liam gave his mate a squeeze before dropping to his knee and Mabel Ann joined him.
“What’s your name?’ she asked the child.
“I’m Rafaewwa. Uncle Liam, you found your pupcake,” she said, nodding her head.
“Yes, I did, sweet pup. Thank you so much for the advice,” he told her, opening his arms for a hug.
The little girl did not hesitate, and when she was done, she granted Mabel Ann one as well. If there was ever any doubt over which Pack, she thought of as home, those doubts were squashed under one sweet pup’s embrace.
“Run along now,” Liam told the pup who scooted after the boys.
“Those are the Alpha’s triplets. The tall blond boy holding the toddler there are brothers as well, they belong to Randall and Tulla. That one there is Aleeza and Dib’s. And Claire just announced she’s expecting as well. We’re uh, quite prolific,” he murmured, scratching his head.
“So many pups,” she whispered, astounded. “You never told me you had so many honorary nieces and nephews.”
Not many Packs were blessed with so many young, and it had been a dream of hers since she was little to have children. Loads of them.
“I didn’t want you to feel rushed or anything,” he said, walking her to the house they would share.
Mabel Ann giggled. Poor Liam had tried so hard to be as open and honest with her, she was sure he was going to beat himself up over this slight omission.
Uh uh. Better nip this in the bud.
“I want pups, Liam. Lots of them, with you,” she said, stopping just short of their front door.
“Mine,” he growled.
Liam lifted her up princess style and crashed his mouth to hers, carrying her over the threshold.
“Shouldn’t we help?” she asked, her body already tingling with anticipation.
Liam’s smoldering gaze found hers, and as always when she saw the white Wolf in his eyes her own vision clouded over with hints of red.
“The others will have got it. I already told them to be careful with your books when they stack them in the garage. We can unpack later,” he replied, his voice thick with his beast.
The attached garage was open and her new Pack mates were already hustling her things inside before the snow started to pick up.
“A mate who loves me and takes care of my books? I am one lucky she-Wolf.”
“No way, pupcake. I am the lucky one.”
And just to prove he was right, he spent the next couple of hours unwrapping Mabel Ann like she was the best damn present he’d ever received, kissing every single inch of flesh he uncovered as he carefully removed layer after layer.
“How many clothes do you have on, woman?”
“It’s winter and I’m from Texas,” she replied, hissing when his fingers ran along her calf.
Her mate must have some kind of magic in him because everything he touched suddenly turned into an erogenous zone. Mabel Ann arched her back off their brand-new, king-sized bed. The muted beige coverlet would have to go, but for now, it was fine.
“Need you, mate,” she murmured.
Liam moved faster then. His fingers found the waistband of her leggings and he pulled them down off her legs.
“I swear, if you never wear underwear again, I will be a very happy Wolf.”
She laughed out loud then and Liam pounced, wrestling her playfully until he seized her lips with his own in a kiss so deep and lusty, it curled her toes.
“I love you, Mabel Ann.”
“I love you too, Liam,” she replied.
Saying it and believing it had gotten easier over the past couple of days, and she relished in that as he claimed her mouth and her body in their new home. Excitement bubbled inside of her. Mabel Ann finally had a place she felt she fit in, with him.
That was her last conscious thought as her sexy as sin Werewolf Adonis kissed, licked, and sucked every inch of her. When Lia made love to her, it was all she could do to keep pace, but whenever she lost herself in his touch, she never regretted it. He took care of her every single time.
Mabel Ann sighed and moaned as he took her from crescendo to crescendo, wrecking her body in the best fucking way. When they were both panting and sweaty, he flipped them over, and she took him inside of her throbbing heat.
“Mate,” she moaned, sucking in a breath as he filled and stretched her with his magnificent cock.
Was it possible to taste him from here? She wondered, then she couldn’t think anymore as, with his big hands holding her hips, she began to rock.
Liam sat up, his mouth closing over one plump nipple, and teasing the nubbin as Mabel Ann rode him hard and fast, swirling her hips and losing her mind and heart with every swivel of their joined bodies.
Her orgasm crashed into her like a tidal wave, and sweet, beautiful mate that he was, he joined her, sending her that much higher. Tucking her into his side as they both fell gently back to earth, Mabel Ann kissed the place on his shoulder where she’d marked him the previous day. They both had six or seven mating marks, each one significant and full of meaning. They couldn’t seem to help it.
Well, she sure as shit couldn’t help herself. Whenever he touched her, the fever took over, and when that happened, Mabel Ann felt more perfect and complete than ever before. She was whole now, better, and she finally had her Wolf of worth.
“Liam,” she whispered.
“Hmm?”
“I’m so glad you didn’t give up on me.”
“I’ll never give up on you, pupcake. You’re my heart.”
“And you’re mine.”
The end….

Dear Readers,
I wanted to thank you for taking this journey with me through the Macconwood Pack Novel Series from book1, Charley’s Christmas Wolf, to book 8, Werewolf Fever.
This series is especially important to me as my first foray into Paranormal Romance, and of course, the one that helped bring my Grazi Kelly Universe from YA/Urban Fantasy into the Romance genre.
Though the entire Wolf Guard and Alpha are now mated, you can still find the Macconwood Wolves as they often pop up in other books and series. Most especially, you will see them in The Macconwood Pack Tales and the Maccon City Shifters books.
Also, if you were curious about our new High Alpha, you can begin the Grazi Kelly journey with Wolf Moon for free. The complete series is available as one boxed set.
The Grazi Kelly Novel Series tells the story of how she embraced her Wolf and faced the Curse of St. Natalis & just in case you were wondering, Grazi is making a comeback very soon with a brand new Urban Fantasy Romance trilogy, the Alpha Moon Pack.
Thank you so much for reading!
Del mare alla stella,
C.D. Gorri
