This is an easy, quick breakfast or perfect midday pick-me-up. Feel free to use your favorite milk. The color is fantastic!
1 cup firmly packed chopped kale leaves
1 ripe banana, frozen, sliced
¼ avocado
1½ cups almond milk (or nut milk of your choice)
Make sure the kale is cut into pieces that will blend easily in your blender or Vitamix. Place the banana, kale, avocado, and almond milk in a blender. Blend for at least a minute, or until the kale has been broken down and the color of the shake is a bright, leafy green.
