Acknowledgments
The more I write, the harder it feels, which is why I’m so grateful for every opportunity to explore my characters and share their unusual stories. I came across a review of one of my novels that said my characters deal with painful situations. Pain is a part of life. And I hope my stories show that yes, we are flawed, yet very human.
Thanks to my editor, Mercedes Fernandez. You help to shape these stories and breathe life into them.
To the Kensington team: Lulu Martinez, the marketing folks, social media people, the book cover designers, and copy editors, you are just so marvelous!
Thanks to Lisa Benford. Thanks for the insight & reference material. And to my delightful EHLS co-workers who are always willing to answer my oddball questions. You’re the best!!
To my standup comedian friend, Officer Stanley. Your input was invaluable.
Shout out to my family members who like to tell people I am their kin. Too funny.
And thanks to the folks that provide inspiration or who give me little juicy insights about men, women, and all things that are human nature.
Last but not least. My fans, supporters, readers (esp. Ebony McMillan, Michelle Sloan, Meicka Jovan), promoters, reviewers (thanks Romance In Color, etc.), book club members, libraries, and online website folks that give love to authors, I am grateful for the attention you gave to If Your Wife Only Knew.
Let’s do it again . . .
P.S. Thank you God, for making my dreams come true. If you had a cheek I’d kiss it!
