Rachel Smoka-Richardson is the author of several children’s books, including Millicent Simmonds: Actor and Activist in the Movers, Shakers, and History Makers series. She has an MFA in writing for children and young adults from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. In her free time, Rachel loves to read, craft, travel, and hang out with her husband and sweet rescue dogs at their Minnesota home.
