Acknowledgments
Being able to acknowledge those who have helped me get to where I am wouldn’t mean anything if I couldn’t thank God in heaven, first, for every writing opportunity He has afforded me; fiction and non-fiction.
To my daughter, Chayse. I know you are my number-one fan and I will forever thank you for being patient and sometimes understanding when it comes to me having to work (write). Thanks for being my everything and I hope and pray I am the same for you. Thank you to my parents, Elder Donald and Fannie Sauls for always having my back and supporting my endeavors. Packing up and moving to your city so that I could complete my degree wasn’t an easy task. In the end it was only possible with your encouragement. And I did it! Thank you. To my sisters, Fanasha and Angel, I’m so excited you all are catching up in age with me! Lol. Love you two! Our best years together are yet to come. My brother-in-law, Kendrick, you are more like a brother and I love you for keeping watch over me and Chayse. I have nephews! Kayden and Langston. I’m so thrilled to be TT-Keshia. Love you, boys, and I’m going to enjoy watching you two grow into God-fearing, respectful young men. Without Urban Christian, I would not have had a platform to be able to share my stories, my thoughts, my ministry, and my gift with the world. I’m forever thankful to Carl Weber and my editor, Joylynn, for taking a chance on me in 2007. You’ve allowed me to continue dreaming. There are way too many of my peers who have contributed in my literary endeavors for me to name. Just know I’m forever in debt to you for the words of encouragement, promoting, and vendor opportunities. And please believe my support is just as giving. I’m a reader, what can I say. To my support team: my readers. Thank you so much to those who through e-mail, Twitter, Facebook, my Web site, bookstores, and more have reached out to me. Your testimonies always touch my heart and I’m blessed to have been a part of your lives and the positive reaction my stories bring. I can’t close my acknowledgments without being thankful for Temple/Belton Texas, Austin, San Antonio and I’ll just say all of Central Texas. Again, too many people to name, but for those who supported my writing, even before I knew who you were, words cannot express the feeling in my heart. It means the world when those close to you can support you, but when there is support from those who believe in you and your ministry ... priceless. Just know there will always be a “To Be Continued” version just for you. And yes, it all started with you Missionary Gladys Hawkins! Smile!
Until the next time ...
