DIPPING SAUCES


SWEET ORANGE DIPPING SAUCE

MAKES about ¾ cup

Store-bought orange juice works fine here, but freshly squeezed orange juice really makes this sauce sparkle.

cup orange juice (2 oranges)

¼

cup orange marmalade

tablespoon honey

teaspoons cornstarch

Pinch ground ginger

Pinch garlic powder

Lemon juice

Salt

Whisk orange juice, marmalade, honey, cornstarch, ginger, and garlic powder together in small saucepan. Simmer, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened, 3 to 5 minutes. Season with lemon juice and salt to taste. Let cool before serving.

HONEY-MUSTARD DIPPING SAUCE

MAKES about ¾ cup

TOTAL TIME: 5 minutes

Add more honey to make this dip sweeter, or add more mustard to make it spicier.

cup yellow mustard

cup honey

Salt and pepper

Whisk mustard and honey together until smooth, season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve.
