Chapter 3 : Fart Olympics On The Acropolis With Socrates & Plato

The Acropolis is a giant temple on the top of Athens. In the distant background we can see the coast of Peloponnese that meets the waters of the Saronic Gulf.

The Akropolis is a symbol for our modern democracy and philosophers like Sokrates, Aristotle and Plato gave birth to the school of learning and philosophy. The acropolis also symbolizes our western civilization.

I am thinking these philosophers were amazing because they just asked other people simple questions to find out about the true meaning of life.

I imagine the ancient Greek sitting at the Akropolis chewing on some herbs and asking questions like:

What is the true meaning of existence?

Why are we here?

Where do we come from?

Where are we going?

This is real passionate stuff and these questions are very important. The answers are even more critical.

Well, in our case we are here to win this the competition and today's race.

We are here not to take any defeat.

There is another curious thing about the Acropolis apart from the wonderful architecture, the Olympic games, and the ancient philosophers.

Well, do you know that the word acropolis literally in Greek means "city on the extremity" and though associated primarily with the Greek cities Athens, Thebes, Argos, and Corinth.

The idea of the Akropolis however may be applied generically to all citadels, including Jerusalem, Rome, Celtic Bratislava, and many citadels in Asia, or even Castle Rock in Edinburgh!

Later the use of the acropolis model and idea quickly spread to Greek colonies like the Dorian Lato on Crete.

Because of its classical Hellenistic style, the ruins of Mission San Juan Capistrano's Great Stone Church in California, United States has been called the "American Acropolis". That is truly amazing!

I just love these little curiosities about ancient cities and history.

Enough of history lessons for today and back to the present because today we have to win the race on the Akropolis.

I already know all the answers to my most important philosophical questions!

My answer:

It is my destiny to win!

The ride is a fantastic glide through the air. We hop from column to column powered by the ninja fart powers of El Ninjo's farts.

The Parthenon is a perfect racing ground. We are half skating and half flying through these beautiful temples of stone including the temple of Artemis, Ancient Agora, the Temple of Zeus and Olympia, the Temple of Hephaestus and the Samothrace temple complex.

It is such a beautiful site and our speed gets even more empowered by this stunning view of the wooded Hill of the Nymphs, the Philopappos Hill and the Philopappos Monument, and the coast of Peloponnese that meet the waters of the Saronic Gulf.

I am very impressed by this hellenic heritage. Even so we already won the race on the Acropolis in my mind we are still flying through this empowering Greek temples. I almost feel like the Greek Gods are watching over shoulder and applauding us.

As we drive back down to the airport I pick up a miniature Acropolis as a souvenir and a symbol for this winning streak in Greece.

In the plane I look at my miniature Akropolis souvenir and think one last time about our recipe for success:

The magic of Ninja skateboard farts!

Racing through these beautiful ancient settings I truly felt like a young Olympic athlete who experienced his first Olympic Game on the most beautiful historic mountain top:

The ancient Olympic world and the birthplace of our civilization and democracy

The boys at home won't believe this story!

With these pleasant thoughts I am falling asleep and the next thing I can see out of the plane's window is the beautiful city of Pisa in Italy!
