Chapter 13: The Sugarloaf Mountain Dimension Of Ninja Farts

We are looking at the most familiar icon of the South American world, the colorful city of Rio de Janeiro and commonly referred to simply as Rio.

Rio is the second largest city of Brazil, and the third largest metropolitan area and agglomeration in South America.

I am totally impressed with how big it is. It is the 6th largest city in the Americas, and the 26th in the world.

Part of the city has been designated as a World Heritage site, named "Rio de Janeiro: Carioca Landscapes between the Mountain and the Sea".

Rio was the capital of Brazil for nearly two centuries.

Today Rio is nicknamed the Cidade Maravilhosa or "Marvelous City" and I can absolutely approve of this name.

Rio is also popular because of its natural breathtakingly beautiful setting.

It is home to the famous and larger than life carnival celebrations, the Samba, the Bossa Nova, the natural beaches such as Barra da Tijuca, Copacabana, Ipanema, and Leblon.

Some of the most famous landmarks include the giant statue of Christ the Redeemer atop of the Corcovado mountain.

Did you know that this statue was named one of the New Seven Wonders of the World?

There are other sightseeing tourist attractions like the Sugarloaf mountain with an awesome cable car. There is the Sambódromo, a permanent grandstand lined parade avenue which is used especially during Carnival season.

There is Maracanã Stadium that is one of the world's largest football stadiums. I can tell you it is huge!

I was particularly interested to first take a tour to the football station because I know that in 2016 the summer Olympics and the Paralympics are going to take place in Rio. This event will mark the first time a South American or a Portuguese speaking nation is going to host such a worldwide event.

The magnitude of the football stadium gives me an idea of what the Olympic games are going to look like here in Rio.

There are so many other things that I love about Rio. The city embraces the nature so closely and right in front of your eyes.

You can't really avoid nature like these mountains. The mountains are really in your face.

I can genuinely feel that the people are having fun out here. It gets me truly excited because it looks like a city where everyone is dancing

Samba.

As you know my style is influenced more by the world of Martial Arts so I was really fascinated about how I am going to go about integrating my style into this pulsing city.

For this competition I have to figure out how to make my moves and how to get through this race the fastest.

My biggest dream has always been to freestyle skate from the highest tops of this colorful, bright, intriguing and mysterious mountain of houses.

With this race I like to use my instinct and defense mechanisms that I learned from the Martial Arts.

I am going to figure out my movements as we go because intuition, feeling and letting things go and flow is part of my mental strategy.

Viewing things from a different perspective and from a different dimension is part of winning this breathtaking race.

The colors up here are just bright and living dazzling colors that hit you straight in the eyes if you do not know your moves.

What an enjoyable and fun Ninja skateboard Fart race. Flying the Ninja Fart style over spaces that are painted in bright yellows, neon greens, pinks, reds, blues, and oranges has never been so liberating. The colors up here are kind of adding a completely new dimension to life.

As we tumble through this colorful mountain of homes, we are challenged with all kinds of obstacles. Quick reaction and flexibility is key.

I look at the monumental Jesus figure on top of the highest mountain that is right across from me.

The statue looks so close to me and as if I can touch it with my bare hands. Looking at it throws up the most liberating feeling.

This is the mental spirit that I am looking for.

I love the Brazilian way of life and I hope that we have contributed to this vibrant, sizzling and colorful way of life, at least that is what we tried.

After a tough competition with a ton of obstacles that involved an array of the most stunning settings like the Rio-Niterói bridge, Morro de Castelo, the Sugarloaf Mountain, and the Copacabana Beach, we have won the Rio competition by the Ninja Superpowers of El Ninjo's slime green farts.

South America is huge and Rio is only a small city considering the enormous continent. I hope I will be able to come back one day to explore the rain forest and the Amazon of Brazil with another adventurous skatebording fart tour.

To win Miami is our next destiny!
