“Teri Fink’s suspense driven novel offers readers captivating characters, involved in powerful relationships, within a dramatic historical setting. “If you loved Downton Abbey, you’ll devour Invisible by Day. Teri Fink recreates World War I era England with vivid details, but while she paints the era with love, she doesn’t sentimentalize it. Instead, she captures much of the brutality, sexism and class warfare that defined the times. A detailed, sweeping novel that explores three of the most compelling facets of human life: love, war, and redemption. Readers will be marking their calendars for Teri Fink’s next release.” ~ A.C. Fuller, Author of the “Alex Vane Media Thriller” Series

“Often books are good because of the story. There are a few that are special because the words are beautiful and take you to another place and time. Those are harder to find. You have both! I loved it! I look forward to your next book!” ~ Debbie Taylor

“Teri Fink’s first novel is a genuine page-turner, the kind of book you want to have on a long flight or a lazy few days on a beach. The people and events are completely believable, in part because of how well the author researched the time period and how stylishly she describes it. This book is suspenseful, fast-paced, and satisfying. If you’re looking for entertainment, it would be hard to do any better than this. I recommend it most highly.” ~ L. F. Smith

THE CLOVIS DIG

~~~
image
“Given the sheer volume of literature produced each year, it can sometimes be hard to find true works of such striking excellence as this tiny gem of a book... The voices that spring out of every page seem to come from the mist of time and the furthest reaches of the human experience... The book has some of the most creative and fully fleshed-out characters in modern fiction.” ~ US Review of Books, RECOMMENDED
“Fink has impressive command over the many swirling elements of her well-plotted novel... The characterizations are strong, but the author has the ability to make the unique setting as important as the people. Archaeology and murder mix in this smart, picturesque novel that’s steeped in local culture.” ~ Kirkus Reviews (Our Verdict: GET IT)
The Clovis Dig by Teri Fink is an exciting read, jammed pack with adventure, mystery, and rich in culture. Fink did an excellent job with the plotline, character dialect, and conclusion. I thought the way the story played out was exceptionally clever, and I could not guess as I read what the ending had in store. Rich in Native American and Hispanic culture, this book holds diverse characters and strong female leads. I especially appreciated the anecdotes about Joe’s life on the reservation, as well as what his experience was growing up as a Native American in the United States. Exceptionally thought-provoking, I found myself curious to learn more about current Native American reservations and their whereabouts. Fink did a wonderful job capturing the importance of preserving Native American artifacts and protecting their land. Although focused on archaeology, this read really would interest any adult reader. A beautifully written mystery, Fink’s tale is one you do not want to miss out on!” ~ City Book Review, Theresa Kadair (5 STARS)
“The writing is clear and easy to follow, the dialogs are natural, and the pacing steadily increases the tension, so the novel never becomes tedious. Rather the contrary; I just had to turn pages to find out what would happen next. The novel is also educational and I learned a lot about archaeological excavations, Native American history, folklore, and myths, so I can highly recommend The Clovis Dig by Teri Fink to anyone looking for both entertaining and enlightening literature.” ~ Readers’ Favorite Book Reviews, Francis Mont (5 STARS)
