Mindfulness Activities

Have you ever noticed that your brain and your body sometimes seem to be in two different places? Your body might be at school, but your brain and your mind are thinking about home. You might be sitting at the dinner table talking with your parents, but your mind is thinking about the argument you had with your friend at recess earlier in the day. When this happens it can be difficult for you to focus. In this section you are going to learn about your mind and how to help it focus.

Your mind is like a muscle. If you practice focusing your mind, it will become stronger and you will notice that you are able to focus more on things that you want to focus on. We call this being mindful.
