The Loyal Toast (to the reigning monarch): proposed by master of ceremonies or the bride’s father, without speech. Smoking is not usually permitted until the toast has been made.
Toast to the Bridal Couple: proposed by friend of bride’s family after speech.
Toast to Bridesmaids: proposed by groom after response to the foregoing.
Toast to Groom: proposed by best man after response to foregoing.
Toast to Parents of Bride: proposed by relative or friend.
Response by Bride’s father.
Toast to Parents of Groom: proposed by relative or friend.
Response by Groom’s father.
Reading of telegrams by best man and groomsmen.
