Lemon, wine, and garlic do wonders for shrimp. This dish is very easy to make and always a hit. You can easily double the recipe to serve guests.

1. Heat the butter and oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat until the foam subsides. Add the wine, garlic, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, lower the heat, and simmer for 3 minutes.
2. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook, stirring frequently, until the shrimp are pink, 3–5 minutes. Add the parsley 1 minute before the shrimp are done.
3. Place the shrimp on a serving plate and pour the sauce from the skillet over them. Serve immediately.
