A FEW FINAL
WORDS

FROM THE words collected in these pages, a picture begins to form of the nature of the Canadian character. Canadians are well-mannered, humble, self-deprecating. But at the same time, they are perceptive, incisive and extraordinarily well-grounded. All the American amenities, without a hint of the egoism displayed by their North American counterparts. They are at once embarrassed by and proud of their long-standing traditions, enjoying the past and the present in equal measure.

In short, there is much to be learned from the wit and wisdom of Canadians. It is my hope that this collection has both entertained and educated you on all that these amazing people have to offer!
