Bulletproof Hot Chocolate

I created this recipe using nondairy milk, but you can use half-and-half or whole milk in its place. The butter gives the cocoa a luscious, rich mouthfeel that is out of this world.

Makes 1 serving

In a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the almond milk, cocoa powder, sweetener, and salt. Cook, stirring frequently, until the mixture just begins to boil. Lower the heat to low, add the butter, and mix together until the butter is melted. Pour into a mug and serve with a dollop of whipped cream.
