Buffalo Chicken Wings

Using an air fryer to cook the chicken results in crispy wings without all the bad fat you get from frying in oil. Serve them with a side of steamed veggies or a salad for a full meal, or bring them to a party as a yummy appetizer. If you don’t have an air fryer, I’ve also included instructions to roast them in the oven.

Makes 4 servings

Air fryer method

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.

Season the chicken wings with the salt and pepper. Place the wings in the air fryer basket and bake for 25 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cook time, until cooked through.

Oven method

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Place a wire rack on a baking sheet.

Season the chicken wings with the salt and pepper. Place the wings on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 45 to 50 minutes, turning once after 25 minutes, until cooked through.

To serve

In a large bowl, mix together the hot sauce, butter, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss the hot chicken wings with the sauce mixture. Serve the wings with celery sticks, ranch dressing, or blue cheese dressing if you like.
