Hamburger Buns

I call for blanched almond flour because it’s made without the skins of the almonds. If you can’t find it, simply use regular almond flour. Your hamburger buns will look a little darker but they will taste exactly the same.

Makes 6 buns

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Have a nonstick hamburger bun pan or muffin top pan ready.

In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the butter and cream cheese in the microwave oven until melted, 1 to 1½ minutes. Add the almond flour, baking powder, and eggs and mix until combined. Pour ¼ cup of the batter into each well of the pan. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if using.

Bake for 20 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool slightly before removing from the pan. Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
