You are going to love this fudge. Smooth and really chocolatey, it’s hard to believe it’s OK to eat this on the diet. Package them up in a box and tie with a pretty ribbon and you’ll have a nice hostess gift.
Makes 32 servings
Have an 8-inch square pan ready.
In a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the chocolate chips and butter, stirring, until combined. Remove from the heat.
In a bowl, beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer. Add the melted chocolate and butter mixture and beat until fully combined, about 2 minutes. Add the sweetener and continue to beat on low until fully combined.
Pour the mixture into the pan. If you like, arrange pecan halves decoratively over the top.
Cover and place the pan in the freezer until it firms up, at least 15 minutes. Cut the fudge into 1-inch squares.
Store in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days or in the freezer for up to 2 months.
