Shrimp Tomato Cocktail

This is a great gift for the adventuresome seafood lover.

1 (46-ounce) can tomato juice

½ cup sugar

½ cup vinegar

1 tablespoon grated onion

3 medium grapefruit, sectioned and cut into bite-size pieces

1 pound cooked small shrimp

A day in advance, mix tomato juice, sugar, vinegar, onion, and grapefruit pieces. Refrigerate. When ready to serve or deliver, add shrimp. This gift looks nice in a simple glass pitcher tied up with cellophane and a ribbon.
