Dedication

This book is dedicated to my daughter Amally, because she (like most of us) faced dark days. It was in those moments that my idea of Mariah had life breathed into it. It was from this that hope for her story was born.

Don’t be afraid to face those dark times, just remember that they are not the end of time…Life will go on. It will get better. Brighter days will come again. And my advice would be to gather up all the good—you may be surprised at how much you end up having!
