Acknowledgments

As always, there are so many folks who are responsible for making this book come to life. Some days, writing comes easy. The words flow freely and inspiration sticks with you. Other days, there is nothing there. This story was a struggle. Writing it was difficult. I just couldn’t find my rhythm. But I knew that Angela and Logan deserved to have their story told. When it finally came to me, it was on the encouragement of many others.

My writers group puts up with my endless shenanigans and enthusiastically gives feed-back on everything I ask them to read. Lindsey Duga is everything. She is the master blurb writer, storyteller, critique partner, and writer wrangler. Andrea and Paula, thanks for coming in at the eleventh hour and asking the hard questions.

To one of my “sunshine people” and biggest cheerleaders, Angela Louise Lavelle. I love you big, big. Over many years and many miles between us, you are an amazing friend. Thanks for letting me use your name and your strength.

Stacy, thank you for your endless patience. Rachel, thanks for always being in my corner, even when that corner is filled with crazy shit.

To Jack and Eliza, everything I do is not only for you, but because of you. You give me unconditional love and that enables me to meet each day with a brand new start. I love you guys, all the way to the moon and all the way back.
