Gail Collins is an op-ed columnist for the New York Times, where she has worked since 1995. She is the author of six previous books, most recently When Everything Changed: The Amazing Journey of American Women from 1960 to the Present, and her numerous honors include the George Polk Award for commentary. Collins lives in New York City.
