PAUL E. CERUZZI is a curator in the Space History Department at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC. At the museum, he has worked on several public exhibitions, most recently a major renovation of the Boeing Milestones of Flight Hall. He has also been active in collecting and exhibiting artifacts related to the guidance, navigation, and control of spacecraft. Dr. Ceruzzi has written several books on the history of computing and aerospace, including Beyond the Limits: Flight Enters the Computer Age; Internet Alley: High Technology in Tysons Corner; A History of Modern Computing; Computing: A Concise History, and most recently Time and Navigation: The Untold Story of Getting from Here to There.
