1547 AQ—The foundation of Roma by the twin brothers Remus and Romulus.

1303 AQ—The last king of Roma is overthrown. The city-state reorganizes into a Republic.

821 AQ—Augustus Caesar becomes the first princeps of Roma.

746 AQ—Marcus Aurelius passes over his son Commodus to adopt Ovidian as his successor. Ovidian creates the first colleges of the Imperium.

618 AQ—Roma consolidates power over Caledonia to Armenia in the north, and Mauritania to Arabia (Maghreb-Anatolia) in the south.

599–590 AQ—Rome begins the annexation of Serica from the Parthian Empire. The first consul and senate of Roma Serica are established, answerable to the Imperium.

535–528 AQ—The Caesarian explorers cross the Sargasso Sea and arrive in Aymara. They defeat the Maya and Quimbaya and annex the continent as a client empire. The first consul and senate of Roma Aymara are established. The province of Arawaka and the Taino Territories is established.

478–473 AQ—The Caesarian explorers move north to Sargassa. They defeat the Ynglots and annex the continent as a client empire. The first consul and senate of Roma Sargassa are established.

11–6 AQ—Plague sweeps through Italia, decimating the population. Grain shortages in Egypt and Sicilia further severely weaken the import-dependent Romans.

5 AQ—The second sack of Rome. What begins as grain riots turns into all-out civil war in the heart of the city.

1 AQ—A general breakdown in law and order within the mother empire leads to Roma losing contact with her client empires and provinces. The Great Quiet begins.

QUIETAM MAGNA (THE GREAT QUIET)—The intervening years during this period are unknown and the events are pure folktale and speculation. Historians estimate the duration of the period to be around 300 years. (Note: Much of written history, literature, and technological advancement was destroyed or lost during this period. This is where the legend of Roman antiquity ends and the verifiable facts of history begin.)

1 PQ—After years of rebuilding, Roma is reestablished. The Imperium sends legions to reestablish contact with client empires through both diplomacy and force. The Great Quiet ends. The Imperial Age of Enlightenment begins.

2 PQ—The Imperial Charter of Roma Sargassa is created. Luxana is established.

9 PQ—Antal Iveroa is appointed the first Imperial Historian.

31 PQ—Construction concludes on the Imperial Archives in Luxana.

120 PQ—The Third Aksumite War ends with the Roman and Aksum Empires signing an alliance treaty.

382 PQ—Serican sailors discover Pacifica, numerous islands to the southeast unconquered by any of the world powers.

383 PQ—Roma attempts to invade Pacifica. They can’t get anywhere close to the islands, however, without their ships being sunk via underwater guerrilla attacks. They decide to leave the islands alone.

410 PQ—The second attempt to invade Pacifica. The second failure.

549 PQ—Gladiator games are abolished in Roma and all client empires.

577–579 PQ—The Twelfth Servile War breaks out and is quelled in Roma Sargassa.

753 PQ—Delena Kleios dies of smoking fever. Alexander Kleios becomes Imperial Historian.

779 PQ—Alexander Kleios is assassinated. Selah Kleios becomes Imperial Historian.
