Acknowledgments
The Savage Highlander certainly caused me pain! After writing the first three chapters, my computer had a “critical fail” even though it was only thirteen months old (one month past the warranty) and showed no signs of illness. I want to acknowledge my fabulous husband, Braden, who worked for a week to try to recover those lost words and twelve months of marketing material, which I hadn’t backed up properly. During that time, he drove my poor, dead laptop around to the Geek Squad, helped me up when I sobbed all over their showroom floor, drove us to a “computer whisperer” who worked on it for days only to pronounce it truly dead, and then helped me buy and load a new computer as fast as he could. Through it all, he was kind and supportive, and never once said “why didn’t you save it to the chicken” (my flash drive is a chicken).
We now have a paid company who backs up EVERYTHING on my computer every night. However, as I neared the end of the book, I thought I lost the last 6,000 words! But Braden managed to find it and is looking into what happened. So, a huge thank you goes to my Highland Hero. Without you, this book might never have been finished!

At the end of each of my books, I ask that you, my awesome readers, please remind yourselves of the whispered symptoms of ovarian cancer. I am now a seven-year survivor, one of the lucky ones. Please don’t rely on luck. If you experience any of these symptoms consistently for three weeks or more, go see your GYN.

· Trouble with your bladder
