About the Author
Kate Kelly was born in Edinburgh and spent most of her childhood in Devon. After studying Geology and Oceanography at university, she began a career as a marine scientist. Since then, Kate’s job has taken her to the Arctic, where she has seen ice caps up close. Her scientific background influences a lot of her writing, and has helped shape the watery world of Red Rock.
In her spare time, Kate enjoys archaeology, kayaking, and SCUBA diving. She’s even dived in the Comino Caves, mentioned in this book. Kate lives in Weymouth with her two cats, two daughters, and one husband.
