The Power of Advocacy

—Andrew Harvey

Chris’s passion for advocacy is one of the things that makes me love him. Advocacy is the fourth key. I’ve been thrilled to hear him speak on this essential key, because very few people are talking about this at the level and with the precision that he brings to it.

My own deep and sometimes painfully lovely experience has taught how essential it is for both people in a sacred evolutionary relationship to be equally committed to supporting each other and encouraging and sustaining each other’s efforts in the world.

We need to be committed to remain with each other in celebration, to help each other be steadfast through all the turns of fate. It is essential that both people encourage each other passionately and tenderly through all the challenges of realizing their chosen work. The only way, I believe, for both people to stay in alignment with their sacred mission is to constantly celebrate each other’s qualities, efforts, and powers. Otherwise, the whole evolutionary enterprise of relationship will be destroyed.
