Mary’s Carrot and Raisin Salad

This salad, created by Dr. Price's mother, Mary, is crunchy, with a sweet, rich flavor. And it couldn't be easier to make! This salad stores in the refrigerator for about three days.

Targeted Side Effects: Constipation, anemia, loss of appetite, wound healing

High in vitamin A and a good source of vitamin C

Makes 5 servings

Ingredients:

8 medium size carrots, grated

1 stalk celery, with leaves, chopped

2 apples, chopped

1 cup raisins

1 cup green grapes

1½ tablespoons mayonnaise or to taste

Pinch of nutmeg, to taste


 

Directions:

1.   In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and serve.
