Trail Mix

Our trail mix is low in fat and includes ingredients to give you quick energy and longer lasting energy. A handful will curb your hunger and help to keep your blood sugar steady. Use waxed paper bags or a small reusable BPA-free container to carry this healthy snack with you. Store in an airtight glass container in a cool, dry place for up to ten days.

Ingredients:

1 cup Cheerios

1 cup mixed dried fruit:

     2 ounces chopped apricots

     2 ounces raisins

     2 ounces chopped pineapple or sliced banana

     2 ounces pitted, chopped prunes

1 cup raw nuts

1 cup gluten-free pretzels

1 cup dark chocolate chips


 

Directions:

1.   In a large bowl, combine all ingredients.
