Sophie
After Phil and I sang, I called Liv to the stage and had her sing TLC’s “No Scrubs” with me. I had caught her singing it on Thanksgiving Day in the kitchen when it came across the Pandora channel. As I expected, she knew it well and got into it.
I took a chance on Claire and hit the nail on the head. I had her sing The Pussycat Dolls’ “Don’t Cha” with me. As I expected, she worked it hard, although I think Ethan liked it more than she did. He sat the entire time with his fuck-me eyes on her as she practically gave him a lap dance.
When we finished, I went back to the table. I sat on Phil’s lap, grabbed a water, and downed it. The DJ called out, “Petal, you’ve got another song.”
I looked at Phil. “What song is it?”
He shrugged. “I don’t know. Honestly, I just put my hand in the book and told him not to tell you.”
I laughed. “Okay.” I gave him a peck and made my way back to the DJ.
He handed me the microphone and gave me a sly grin. “Let’s see if you can nail this one.”
I nodded and went back to the center of the floor. I heard the first note and started to laugh. It was the first number one hit I’d ever had.
Phil raised his eyebrow at me and grinned. The rest of the table had the same expression on their faces.
I started to belt out the notes. I hit everything perfectly and added little extra notes for the ending. At the end of the song, I once again got a standing ovation. I walked over to the DJ and handed him the microphone. “How was that?”
He smiled at me. “That was good, but your ending needs some work. Carlotta doesn’t end it that way.”
I gave him a serious stare. “Okay. I’ll work on that, thanks.” I walked back to the table and told everyone what he’d said, and they all started laughing.
David and his wife Mary came over. “That was really amazing, Sophie,” he gushed.
“Thank you. And thank you for saving us tonight.”
Mary grabbed my hand. “Any time. You’re just lovely.”
I hugged her. They were both so sweet.
“Your luggage is at the house. We put it all in the hallway because we weren’t sure which bag went with who. There weren't any tags on most of the bags,” David informed us.
Tom stood up. “No problem. Thank you again for your hospitality. You have a great place here.”
“It’s our pleasure,” Mary beamed.
David pointed to the clock. “The pub has to close at ten. You’re welcome to stay and keep drinking, but we can’t have the music or lights on, or we can get fined. The candles normally give off enough light for those who stay past hours.”
I glanced around and saw that the DJ was almost packed up, and the other guests had all left. The bartender was wiping the counter down.
“That’s no problem. I think Claire and I are ready to go check out our room.” Ethan licked his lips and ogled Claire.
Claire hopped off his lap. “Yes, thank you so much for a great night.” She hugged Mary and David.
“Let us show you where your rooms are,” David said.
Ethan, Claire, Tom, and Liv all stood up.
Phil pointed to our drinks. “We’ll be there in a little bit.”
“No problem. We’ll leave the hall light on for you and your room door open.” David nodded to Phil.
Everyone left, and only the bartender remained.
Phil pulled me onto his lap and brushed my hair behind my ear. “You were incredible tonight, Petal.”
“I thought your rap skills were pretty hot.” I wasn’t just saying that to him—I did think so.
He blew it off.
I leaned into him and nibbled on his ear. “No, really. It was super sexy.” His body hardened against my thigh. “Did you have fun?” I murmured.
He softly laughed. “Surprisingly, yes. Everyone had fun because of you tonight.”
I beamed at him.
“But your fun is just getting started, Petal.”
My insides did a happy dance.
The bartender walked over to us. “David said to give you this key if you were still here. Will you lock up when you leave?”
“Sure,” Phil told her.
She put the key on the table. “Have a great night.”
“You too,” we both called out to her.
The lights were turned off, and the door shut. Phil picked me up and put me on the table. Then he walked over to the door and locked it.
When he got back to me, he looked like he was ready to ravish me. I bit my lip and blushed a bit.
“I have a feeling the walls in the house are thin,” Phil teased.
I didn’t know how I could blush when he’d already had me in almost every way possible, but I still got butterflies at times when I was around him.
Phil stared at me and ran his finger down the front of me. “I can’t get over how beautiful you are, Petal. And this dress has been driving me crazy all night.”
My body throbbed.
His phone rang. He sighed, sent the call to voicemail, and turned on his Pandora app. Soft indie music played, and he set his phone on the table.
I slid off the table and pushed him onto the chair. I hiked up my dress and stepped forward so I was straddling him. The extra height of my heels positioned me so my crotch was a few inches above his dick.
I sank down on his lap and stared at him. I blurted out, “I felt like a part of my soul was gone these last few weeks.”
Pain shot through his eyes. “You tortured me, Petal.”
I nodded, bit my lip, and looked away.
He pulled my chin back to his face.
“I’m sorry,” I whispered.
“I’m not looking for an apology.” His warm hands started to caress my naked back.
My lips were inches from his. “Then what are you looking for?”
“For you to understand that it hurts us more to be apart than to deal with stuff together.”
I closed my eyes and nodded again, inhaling his amber-and-rosewood scent. “I missed smelling you.” His warm breath, then lips molded to mine as his tongue slipped into my mouth. “Mmm… You taste like black licorice.”
“Thank the Jäger for that,” he murmured between kisses.
I pulled him in closer to me and started to grind my hips into him to the beat of the music.
He groaned in my mouth, and my stomach fluttered. Grabbing my ponytail, he pulled it back, and his lips fluttered across my neck.
I moaned and ground my body harder into him.
“You were on my mind all day and all night, Petal. I tried to let you go, but you were everywhere, haunting me. Your voice, your face, your blue hair...it was everywhere I went.” He was kissing my collarbone.
“I couldn’t escape you, either,” I whispered. He was all I had thought and dreamed about. No matter what I did, I couldn’t stop the pain of not being with him over the last few weeks.
“What did you do to escape me, Petal?”
I froze and pulled away so his face was right next to mine. I grabbed his face between both hands. “I didn’t try to fuck you away. Is that what you did? If you did, it’s okay,” I added quickly.
I knew what Phil did to blow off steam, and how stressful his career was before he had to deal with my security issues and the hurt of my lie. We weren’t together, so I wasn’t about to hold anything he may have done against him. Now that we were together, I wasn’t sure what he would want blowing off steam to look like. Everything was new territory to me, but I knew I wanted Phil, so I wasn’t going to start judging him or demanding things of him.
“No. I didn’t touch anyone.”
“Really? Why not?”
He didn’t hesitate. “Because they weren’t you.”
“But—”
“Petal, I don’t want anyone besides you.” He scanned my eyes. “It’s true.”
I kissed him. “Okay, but if you want to go blow off some steam in the future, just tell me, okay?”
He softly laughed. “Petal, if I want to blow off steam, I’ll blow it off with you.”
I must have looked like I didn't believe him.
“I tried to fuck you out of my system, remember? It didn’t work. No one has your lips, or your hands, or your voice that makes delicious sounds when I touch you. I don’t want anyone else, Petal.” His eyes bored into mine, and I knew that he meant every word.
I nodded and leaned in, and my lips were once again on his.
“I’m glad you didn’t try to fuck me out of your system, Petal,” he told me between kisses.
“I’m rather partial to you,” I whispered to him.
His fingers trailed over to the side of my dress. He slowly unzipped it, and he grabbed both sides of my dress and pulled it over my head, then threw it on the chair next to us.
I wasn’t wearing a bra and only had on a black thong. His fingers traced the outline of the back of my thong, and his warm tongue was soon circling my areola.
He pulled back and nervously scanned my eyes. “I’ve never asked this of anyone before. I didn’t care. But I do with you.”
“What?”
“I don’t want you with anyone else, Petal.”
“Don’t worry. I’m only yours. I don’t want anyone else.”
He blew out a big breath of air, kissed my lips, and went back to my breasts.
My hands went to his shirt, and I started to unbutton it with shaky hands. It felt like a lifetime since he’d touched me last, and my body was already humming. I couldn’t get the buttons undone.
“Just rip it, Petal. I’ll get a new one,” he mumbled as he moved his mouth to my other breast.
I gripped both sides of his shirt and pulled as hard as I could. Buttons went flying everywhere. We both laughed.
Nimble hands caressed my spine, and little volts of energy shot through my nerves. My mouth moved across his pecs, and my hands went to his pants and unbuckled his belt, then lowered his zipper. I ground against his hardened cock that was bulging against his underwear.
“I can feel your heat, Petal,” he groaned against my neck, then grabbed both sides of my legs and said, “Hang on.” He picked me up and lifted himself off the chair. I quickly pushed his pants and underwear off him.
He sat down. I stood up over him, slowly kissing him, before I moved my panties to the side and slowly glided my way down his pulsing shaft as my body wrapped around him.
The sound of our moans was like a beautiful song to me. Slowly, I started to circle him up and down, taking advantage of the leverage my heels gave me.
“Petal, no one feels as good as you,” he whispered against my lips.
“Nor you,” I whispered back.
His hands gripped my hips and started to rock me into him faster. “You’ve ruined me for anyone else, Petal,” he told me.
Currents of warmth rippled through me as my body vibrated against his. I dug my fingers into his back and pulled him closer to me.
His mouth was on my neck, and his lips fluttered against my skin. I swallowed hard as tiny spasms clenched against his cock.
“Fuck, I’ve missed you, Petal.”
Our chests heaved together in short breaths, and our skin began to glisten with sweat. My face flushed as my body became an inferno against his.
“I missed how soft you are.” The fullness of my breasts pushed against him and slid against his naked chest. His thumbs stroked my skin around my hips as he pushed me faster on him.
“All of you. That’s what I missed,” I whispered without thinking.
“Let me make you forget,” he mumbled.
An unexpected realization hit me like a slap in the face. I shook my head and pushed my forehead to his. “I don’t want to use you to forget anymore. I just want to lose myself in you.” It was a huge shift for me. I didn’t think about it. I didn’t stress about it. I didn’t try to shove it down. I embraced it fully, because my heart knew he was the man I needed.
Phil’s eyes scanned mine before he kissed me so hard he stole my breath.
As the buzzing in my nerves started to rise higher, I began to whimper against him and tremble. He hardened further inside me and start to throb against my walls.
“You make the most beautiful sounds, Petal,” he mumbled as he kissed my collarbone.
I closed my eyes and tried to take a lungful of air through my mouth. My lip was trembling. I could feel it, along with the rest of my body, racing to the apex.
“You feel too good,” I told him.
“Just let go, Petal.” He thrust me harder into him, and I spiraled out of control. My back arched, my legs lost their ability to hold me up, and my body completely shattered on top of him. He pulled me into his arms tightly with one arm and kept moving my hip with his other hand.
Incoherent words flew out of my mouth, and his cries mixed with mine as he started to pump harder in me while his body exploded against mine.
I toppled on him, a limp rag doll in his arms, as he pulled me tighter to him, and our breathing became one.
He brought his face to mine and claimed my lips once more, and his penis pulsed inside me.
I laughed.
“What are you laughing at, Petal?” he murmured into my lips.
“You’re still in me, and I just felt you throb.”
He laughed some more between kisses. He pushed his forehead to mine and gave me a wicked grin. “Let’s go see how thin these walls are.”
