Arrowhead Beads

Designed by Michael G. LaFosse

The Arrowhead Bead is similar in design to the Trident Bead, and is formed by squashing opposite points of the same base. It has an Art Deco style that contrasts well with other square beads, and complements other geometric jewelry and outfits. The stylized design harkens back to our primitive past when similar shapes were expertly carved from flint and worn on the body; kept handy while being useful adornments.

10. Valley-fold flap A inside the model. Apply paste to the inside of flap B, close the bead and insert flap B into the same pocket as flap A. You may also insert a wire before gluing in place, to create and open channel for stringing after the glue or paste dries.

11. Remove the wire when ready for stringing.

12. Use a beading needle to string.
