Thank you for reading a story in the Wild Sherwood series.
I’ve always enjoyed the stories of Robin Hood and his Merry Men. As yet, I haven’t been disappointed in any of the versions that I’ve found—although I do have my favorites, including Outlaws of Sherwood by Robin McKinley, the British television series (for which I’ve never managed to see all the episodes), and the Walt Disney animated movie.
The Wild Sherwood is my spin on the legends, blending in the dangerous Faeries of British myth as I write stories for Robin Hood, Maid Marianne, Will Scarlet, Much, and Little John ~ as well as giving voice to other outlaws and adding a few of my own characters to Sherwood Forest.
For various reasons, this series began with short stories, written in collaboration with M.A. Lee. The medieval world of Sherwood and Nottingham is fun to explore, fun to write, and extra fun to finish.
