Micah

Surprise!

Is God ever surprised? You make plans and then you have to change them. You get a summer job, and the store you were going to work in burns down. You get a ticket to the World Series, and, boom, there’s an earthquake. You can plan, but you can’t be sure what will happen.

God is never surprised. The prophet Micah warned Israel and Judah that because of their sins they would be conquered by enemy nations. Micah also saw ahead 700 years and predicted the town where the Savior would be born! Nothing in your future can surprise God. And nothing can shake his love for you.
