Ignored.

It’s no fun to be ignored. A teacher ignores your raised hand and doesn’t answer your question. A parent butts in and ignores what you were trying to say. A friend walks away when you’re talking.

Luke wants you to know Jesus wasn’t like that. Jesus showed a loving interest in all kinds of people. He had time for children. He often spoke about caring for the poor and oppressed. And Luke was careful to mention by name the women Jesus met and spoke to. Luke will help you realize that, whoever you are, Jesus has time for you.
