Romans

A Good Person.

That’s what most of you probably want to be. But everyone falls short. Oh, maybe you do better than many others. Compared to some, you may be doing great. But compared to God or compared to what you know you ought to be, well, you know none of us quite measure up.

Romans tells you what God has done for “not quite good enough” people. Instead of insisting that you be perfect, God invites you to trust in him. Then he gives you the Holy Spirit so you can live a holy life. God doesn’t want you to fail. He intends to help you be all you can be.
