2 Corinthians

Love Them?

Why should you? Why should you love those “friends” who are now saying they don’t like you? They’re trying to turn others against you? What can you do? Tell them off? Start talking about them like they’re talking about you? What can a person do, anyway?

Most people in Corinth followed the advice Paul gave in his first letter. But some kept talking against Paul. Instead of getting mad, Paul wrote this letter. In it he shares how he feels and tells why he acts as he does. Paul loves the Corinthians. If you care about others, people who criticize or lie about you won’t get very far.
