Former Reporter Marries Amish Millionaire
Serenity, PA – In a private ceremony conducted at the bride’s home, Jemima King, best known as the Amish Millionaire, and Brad Williams, formerly of the Ledger Enquirer, were married this Tuesday. King first came to the attention of the public when the Enquirer broke the story of her rare find – a previously unknown letter from George Washington to his wife. King subsequently sold the letter at Brinkley’s Auction House for $1.6 million.
Williams, at the time a Ledger reporter, met King in the course of reporting her story, and he also testified on her behalf when she was unsuccessfully sued for the money. Williams resigned his post as an up-and-coming reporter for the Ledger, and has renounced modern life to convert to the Amish faith. He is one of the few people who have successfully made the transition to that way of life.
His former colleagues at the Ledger wish him, and his lovely bride, every happiness.
