Pam Johnson-Bennett is a Certified Animal Behavior Consultant and one of the best-known experts on feline behavior. She is vice president of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and the founder and chair of the cat division of the IAABC. She is the author of six other books on cat behavior and has been the recipient of numerous awards.

Pam speaks on behavior at veterinary conferences and humane organizations and makes numerous television appearances, including CNN, Fox News Channel, and the National Geographic Channel. She is also a frequent guest on national radio.

In addition to running a private veterinarian-referred behavior service, Pam is the cat behavior expert at Friskies.com and Yahoo.com. She serves on the advisory board of the Tree House Animal Foundation and is on the PR committee for the Winn Feline Foundation. She was also the national spokesperson for Friskies. Being dedicated to improving the lives of shelter cats, Pam also served as the spokesperson for the Friskies Shelter Program, where she helped design a prototype cageless shelter-cat habitat.

Pam was the behavior columnist for Cats magazine and The Daily Cat and the resident behavior expert at ivillage.com. She has authored articles for scholarly journals and cat magazines and is frequently quoted in national magazines and newspapers.
