Italian Baked Tofu
Prep time: 5 minutes | Cook time: 10 minutes | Serves 2
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon water
¹⁄₃ teaspoon garlic powder
¹⁄₃ teaspoon onion powder
¹⁄₃ teaspoon dried oregano
¹⁄₃ teaspoon dried basil
Black pepper, to taste
6 ounces (170 g) extra firm tofu, pressed and cubed
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, water, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, and black pepper. Add the tofu cubes, stirring to coat, and let them marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Arrange the tofu in the baking pan.
  3. Slide the baking pan into Rack Position 1, select Convection Bake, set temperature to 390ºF (199ºC) and set time to 10 minutes.
  4. Flip the tofu halfway through the cooking time.
  5. When cooking is complete, the tofu should be crisp.
  6. Remove from the oven to a plate and serve.
